mom ever!” So off she went to school. Mom was worried about how Li Ming would feel when she came
back. She was so worried her mom went to school. She was just in time for the race. “3,2,1”. Soon Li Ming
was in the lead, then after a while, another girl passed her and Li Ming was 2nd. It was like a miracle.
Suddenly, she raced past the girl in first place and crossed the finish line. Up she went onto the podium,
representing Hong Kong!
Li Ming couldn’t stop smiling and the smile on her face was what her mom was
looking forward to seeing.
