Dong felt so sad and lonely as their happy childhood memories popped into his thoughts. Memories of
when they played together in the garden of their mother’s palace and fought with wooden swords while
pretending to be knights… All of those sweet memories just came flooding back so vividly that Dong totally
forgot anything else. “We are brothers!!” Dong yelled. Leaning over his brothers' bodies, he felt alone and
helpless, so he sobbed uncontrollably.
“Er…!!” Sanova released his last breath and disturbed Dong’s state of sombreness. This last sound from
Sanova was like a thunderbolt in the darkest sky. “I still have a way!” Dong rushed over to the dragon,
prized open Sanova’s mouth and snatched the jewel. Dong waved his sword and cut the pearl into two
halves. Gently and carefully, Dong placed a piece of the pearl into each brother's mouth. Magically, Bei
slowly opened his eyes, and then Xi moved his lips. Dong held the hands of his brothers and shed tears of
happiness.
The people of PRD said, "Dong really has the bravest of hearts!” They voted for Dong to be their king.
Dong declared, “I need Bei and Xi to be my assistants and we will serve the delta together!” Under their
governance, the delta has returned to be the place, where the water flows humbly, where the birds soar
freely, and where the people live blissfully… The pearl of Sanova no longer exists, but the story has spread
across the delta.
