Fiction: Group 2
"Who do you think you are, arrogant bonehead? Thinking us as your army? Nonsense!" The
leader said with disapproval. "Just turn around and leave! Serve you right for choking!"
But, when they turned around and headed towards another direction, deeper into the sea, there
were sharks. Oil was on another side while the city of Zhuhai blocked their only way of escape. They
were trapped.
"Fool!" The leader cried out at the first moment, "Why did you lead us here, Delvin?"
"It wasn't my fault that everything was here at the same time..."
"Well, if you had respected me at the meeting, I wouldn't have asked you to lead us!"
And so the two argued and quarrelled forever (or it seemed to be forever) while the others were
like sitting ducks. Pinky, the smartest of the group (when she wasn't panicking), noted that having such a
row was no use, so she suggested, "What about moving along and trying to get out of here? We'll try to
swim along the city of Zhuhai, under the smog as far away as possible, then find another way out." "Given
that we're not the sharks' snacks, anyway," she mumbled.

So now Pinky led the group, with the two bad-tempered dolphins sulking behind. They shot
through the dark sea, fleeing from the darkness behind to a safe place.
However, Pinky was already out of breath even though they haven't even covered half of the
distance. "I'm not going to make it..." she wheezed. But she hung on and continued.
Soon, they were away from the smog, every dolphin tired and out of breath, but the sharks were
still close behind, ready for their lunch. "How are we going to survive?" Pinky said in despair. The
dolphins could swim no more and there was no help.
"If we can't outswim them, we can outsmart them," Pinky quoted from a famous dolphin tactician.
"Yes!" Pinky screamed in excitement. "We can make them bump into the nets by the beach in Hong
Kong!"
What Pinky didn't know was that sharks weren't so delicate and fragile, so that her plan wouldn't
have worked, but there was good news. Pinky's scream of excitement had scared the sharks away, therefore
leaving the dolphins alone. And all the humans in the cities of the Pearl River Delta thought that it was
merely a train whistle.
"Our saviour!" The dolphins cheered. Even Delvin and the school leader applauded with their
fins. Everyone had a great time.
Well, after that, Pinky became the leader of the dolphins and they had many other exciting
adventures, but that's another story.
